Don has attended Cole since 1982. He started serving as an Elder in 1987 and joined the staff as Church Administrative Pastor in 1988. Don now job-shares the administrative duties with Steve Harrell. He oversees finances, staff benefits and risk management. He also helps to oversee support staff, facilities and facility staff. Don volunteers much of his personal time to serve on the Elder Council.

Prior to his employment at Cole, Don spent 20 years working in various management positions with Idaho First National Bank, which is now U.S. Bank.

Don and Chris have two children, E.J. (wife, Sasha) and their son Jack, and Brandi (husband, Jason Ellett) and their three sons: Shaw, Hayden, and Kade. Don's interests are pursuing his relationship with God, spending time with his grandchildren and playing golf. He is also involved in his neighborhood homeowner's association and is a public school volunteer.
