Donna Williams (Children’s Ministry):  Donna grew up in a small town in Arkansas.  She loved growing up as a farmer’s daughter and as the third of 3 girls.  In this small town, Donna asked Jesus to be Lord of her life around age 12.  Upon graduating from McGehee High School, she attended Texas A&M University where she met her husband Tom.  After college, they married, moved to Germany for 3 years with the army and then lived in Florida to run a computer training business with her dad.    While in Florida, Tom & Donna’s family expanded.  They had 2 children, a daughter April and a son Taylor.  After yearning to return to Boise for 20 years and having the chance to be near his family, Tom brought Donna and their children here in 2001. (This was Donna’s third time to move “site-unseen” to a new hometown).  They enjoy camping and backpacking as a family, riding bikes on the green belt, having friends over, spending time with Tom’s brother and family and being spontaneous.  Upon arriving in Boise, Cole Community Church was the first and only church that Donna & her family attended since moving here in August 2001.  Her sister-in-law recommended it highly and now Donna’s family and Tim (Tom’s brother) & Franny’s families attend church together.   Donna loves Cole because she sees so many faithful servants who are sincerely seeking Christ, growing in their faith, and actively serving in ministry.  Over the years, at Cole, she enjoyed serving in every age of her children’s Sunday School classes as teacher or helper.  Serving in Sunday School, leading at Bible Study Fellowship and other ministries prepared her for the role she’s now had for 3 years in Children’s Ministry.  God continues to provide support, encouragement and guidance for Donna in this step of faith.
