About Cole
Ron began serving as the Young Adult Pastor at Cole Community Church in June 2006. He and his wife, Wendy, have a love and passion for the younger generation and enjoy entering into life and ministry with them. His hope and desire is for each young adult to become firmly rooted in the knowledge and power of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:17-22) and to make disciples of them by equipping them for the ministry, to maturity of the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:12-16).
Ron and his family have been a part of the body at Cole Community Church since 1992, when they moved to Boise from Tacoma, Washington. Before joining the pastoral staff at Cole, Ron worked for Hewlett-Packard as a Mechanical Engineer, where he served in various roles and assignments that brought him into contact with people from all over the world.
Ron's journey into vocational ministry began in the spring of 2001 when he began serving as a volunteer with the Cole High School ministry. This was an awesome time of learning how to more fully trust God and love others in the context of relational ministry. This led Ron to taking classes through the Cole Biblical Study Center, briefly serving as a lay elder, leaving HP, and pursuing further study at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
Ron and Wendy have a daughter Caitlin, who is currently working as a full time nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise. In his free time, Ron loves spending time with his family and adventures in mountain biking.
