In all our ministries we seek to make disciples of our Lord Jesus. This goes from nursery to retired folks. Here are some of the ministries and the easiest way to get involved. Remember, this is just the front door; there is a lot more going on. Give a call, get involved.
These are places where you can be served and also places for you to serve (Cole Service Ministry). For many of the meeting times, click on the Sunday School link. For information on those staffing these ministries, see the Staff Directory.

Our Children’s Ministry is for children from birth to sixth grade. The nursery is available for infants and toddlers and is located at the far end of the north hallway. Our Children’s Sunday School has classes for two year olds (as of 9/1) through sixth grade during the 9:00 a.m. service. At the 10:45 a.m. service, we offer a special fifth and sixth grade class for our preteens called The Mighty Lions. The locations of each age group will be posted on the marquee board in the south hallway entrance, in our bulletin each week and at the Welcome Desk. The Open Arms Ministry is available for children with special needs who may need assistance in the traditional Sunday School classroom.

We participate very actively in Global Outreach at Cole, with a special focus on people groups in the world having limited or no access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We long to see everyone at Cole engaged in some way with our outreach to the world. Options include informed prayer, other forms of behind-the-scenes support, and short and long term service on the field, both in Boise and around the world.

Growth Groups are one of our foundational ministries for adults of all ages and circumstance. We see them as “house churches” meeting in homes throughout the city. These groups provide Bible Study, fellowship, accountability, prayer, and the use of spiritual gifts. Check out the literature rack in the back of the auditorium for dates, times and locations.
Helping hands is a service ministry, reaching out to others at Cole through providing meals or groceries in time of need.

Also attached to this church is a ministry to churches throughout Idaho. This ministry provides support and encouragement and training to pastor couples. To visit David’s E-Musings Blog-Spot click here.

Cole makes some of our land that is currently not needed for other ministry uses available to members of Boise’s international community. This activity is coordinated by volunteers from our body under the direction of the Glocal Ministry. It provides people from many diverse parts of the world with an opportunity to raise food crops in family garden plots.
The Cole Community Church Library was established in 2001. Many volunteers working together and many generous donations have built the library collection to over 7000 items. Volunteers are welcome to help in any of the aspects of library operation: item donation, monetary contributions, circulation, shelving, repair, maintenance, and book reviews. Patrons are invited to obtain a library card at no charge. Library hours are Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, and Wednesdays, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

Our vision is that every man who has made a commitment to follow Jesus, would also choose to be a part of a discipleship group for study, fellowship and accountability.
Desiring to gather moms together for Christ-centered fellowship, discipleship and equipping, the Mom2Mom Ministry meets the first and third Friday of every month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room. This group is open to all moms (even empty nesters.) Moms gather together to listen to speakers share on topics relevant to Christian parenting and living, enjoy breakfast together, share prayer requests and pray for one another. These gatherings are a safe place where conversations and discussions can be spoken in a Christian context. Childcare is provided for infants on up.
